The Process

Constructing a custom home requires effective planning, good communications and meticulous execution.  The process of custom home building should be an efficient and enjoyable endeavor.  From concept to completion we will guide you through all stages of planning and building your custom home.  We have developed an exclusive process that will lead you through the construction of your home.  It consists of four major stages.

PLANNING: 

You’ve found your land; we’ve analyzed the site and determined the best location and orientation for you home, along with establishing a budget.

DESIGN:

Our goal is to coordinate the design of your dream home that can be built within your budget.  Working with Larry Gilland & Associates, dba LGA Studios an award winning firm out of Colorado Springs, a multi phased custom home design process has been developed to design a home that not only addresses you lifestyle, environmental concerns, but most importantly your budget.  (This page features a cross section of a few of his designs.)  Upon completion of your home we reimburse one half of the costs of design. If you already are in the design phase or have plans we’ll work with you in getting your home within your budget.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION: 

At this stage we prepare detailed estimates, drawings and specifications, prepare contracts and finalize and adjust details, along with applying for permits.

CONSTRUCTION:

 

The final stage and what we’ve been working towards.  The satisfaction of watching your dreams become reality is very gratifying.  Our tracking system offers a means for our customers to monitor their costs from the time we break ground until the day we finish your home.  There are no surprises or uncertainties just clear methods that outline the choices a customer must make and the resulting costs.
